Through The ASHA Program, we facilitate Sisters Halaqah; online and the gathering in the Masjid to provide education, resources, and support to women & children of immigrant & refugee communities of Metro Atlanta. Topics range from Nutrition, Halal Food, Hijab, Menses, Reproductive Health, Pregnancy, behavioral health, Domestic Violence, Parenting, Child Care, Child Abuse, Funeral Rights, Ramadan, Zakah, Hadj, and more...
ASHA program is dedicated to empowering our community throuhg Islamic approaches to health education and wellbeing practices, mentorship, and faith-based initiatives.​ These include:
- Providing basic Islamic Education for women to perform their Islamic duties correctly,
- Serving as an info. resource for healthcare & social service providers, seeking to learn about Islam or Muslims,
- Providing Islamic youth with education and coaching services, based on Quran and Sunnah.

Furthermore, the ASHA Program of Womens Health First empowers Muslim Sisters by providing business and entrepreneurial opportunities. This includes presentations and workshops on various financial topics through partnerships that support women in financial literacy, workforce development, small business development, and more. These monthly sessions are available both online and in person at mosques, libraries, and community centers.
